In today’s professional eco-system, we all need to hear some good news, motivating stories and positive messages that inspire hope for our future.

Lumbie is the President and CEO of JB Dondolo, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to remove barriers of access to clean water and to ensure proper sanitation and hygiene for the underserved and impoverished. Lumbie believes that access to clean water is a human right. Lumbie accepted the UN Global Leadership Award presented by the United Nations Association for her work in successfully installing a filtration system at a medical clinic in Zimbabwe which serves a community of20,000 residents.

In 2019, JB Dondolo also provided safe drinking water as temporary relief to approximately 11,250 Newark, NJ, residents experiencing a water crisis.

During COVID-19 pandemic, JB Dondolo launched the Music for Water campaign to help the Navajo Nation in Arizona with sanitation products through a competition to create a song that ignites awareness of the global importance of clean drinking water, offering a music production deal to the chosen winners..
